The marriage will take place in the Chapel of the Irish College or in the Baptistry of St John Lateran’s and will be registered in Rome.
After the wedding you will be given a church marriage certificate. The civil part will then be taken to be registered at:

Ufficio Matrimoni dell’Anagrafe Centrale
Via Luigi Petroselli 50
Roma

It will take at least 20 days before the relevant transcription is completed.

Certificates must be requested from the Municipality where the marriage was celebrated .

It will be necessary to make a request to the Municipality where the marriage was transcribed, providing the date of the celebration or the date of transcription, if known”.
